Joyce Pfaffle, M.A., D.S.S. and
Handwriting Analyst,
has
been analyzing handwriting since
1972 and has been fascinated
with it ever since! Trained at
IGAS (International
Graphoanalysis Society) in
Chicago, she has throughout the
years reviewed countless
handwritings for individuals and
couples, and taught classes at
adult schools, on cruise ships,
and through private lessons. |
In college as a psychology major, Joyce did
several related experiments including
one which correlated handwriting analysis
results with validated tests for creativity
and one in which emotionally disturbed and
ordinary eighth grade boys' handwritings
were compared determining that handwriting
could show emotional problems.
Joyce's philosophy in life has
changed throughout the years. She found that
the emphasis in handwriting analysis on
pointing out fear, defense, aggressive
and restrictive traits was no longer in
keeping with her values which focused on the
positive and changing our thinking and
thereby changing our life.
The Vimala alphabet has been the
answer to this dilemma. Its focus on
changing the writing, not putting down the
writer, has given Joyce an opportunity to
revive her interest in handwriting and to
help others as well. In 2007 she took a
course in the Psychology
of Written Expression towards that goal. And
in 2008, after study in India on the
chakras, she undertook writing a book,
using handwriting to determine imbalances in
the chakras. This groundbreaking book published
on the web in October
2008 is "Writing Your Chakras: Detecting
and Correcting Energy Imbalances with Handwriting
Evaluation."
Joyce was married in early 2008 to
Astrologer Davie
Pfaffle. They live near downtown Campbell,
CA. She is the mother of three
beautiful, talented daughters and grandmother to four
girls and two boys and just recently became an
"adopted" grandma to Davie's baby grandson,
Frankie, born in September 2008 to Davie's son and wife.

Davie
was one of Joyce's
first students in
the Vimala Alphabet.
He diligently
practiced his new
letters daily, and
afterwards
told her that not
only does he feel
better about how he
writes, but also
as a result he feels
better about
himself! |
